There are many questions in the current crisis regarding health economics. Examples include how the population is dealing with the coronavirus threat and to what extent it complies with and adheres to political decisions such as the prohibition of contact and social distancing.

To answer these questions, the Hamburg Center for Health Economics has launched a study (a survey in 7 countries) in collaboration with several universities, including Bocconi.

The Paper: Nirosha Elsem Varghese, Iryna Sabat, Sebastian Neuman-Boehme, Jonas Schreyoegg, Tom Stargardt, Aleksandra Torbica, Job Van Exel, Pedro Pita Barros, Werner Brouwer, “Risk Communication during COVID-19: A Descriptive Study on Familiarity, Adherence to and Trust in the WHO Preventive Measures”, in Covid Economics, Issue 48.
